Rexam, has launched ‘Crystal Transparency’, and provides a new choice, which in addition to its remarkable clarity and visual appeal, offers manufacturers an exciting range of marketing and production advantages. Crystal Transparency offers ‘startling clarity and beauty, as well as remarkable cost and manufacturing efficiencies,’ according to Julie Vergnion, Product Manager, Rexam Personal Care Division, and is available on all Rexam standard samplers, including Sof’n’Touch, Mini- Mist® and Sofistic’s. It offers all the aesthetic allure of glass, yet without the cost. It is lighter than glass, for reduced transportation costs and tough enough to reduce filling line breakage. ‘In fact, use of Crystal Transparency cuts development time, as compared with glass, according to Vergnion. In addition, supply chain management is enhanced, since Rexam offers both the pump and bottle (both recyclable, with less energy needed, as well). ‘In terms of consumer appeal, and marketing and production attributes, we believe this to be an innovation in plastic bottle materials with true brand benefits’, Vergnion said. ‘The cost is compelling, production handling is easier and the marketing advantages are ‘clear.’ Crystal Transparency is fully customizable and every decoration technique used with Rexam plastic sampler bottles is available: hot stamping, silk screening and various unlimited printing colours.
