SIKORA to present revolutionary technologies at CHINAPLAS 2010

SIKORA, a manufacturer and worldwide vendor of measuring and control technology for the hose and tube industry, is showing newly developed products at this year's CHINAPLAS in Shanghai.


The Asia's No.1 plastics and rubber trade fair will be held this April from 19 to 22.

A highlight on the SIKORA booth is the new X-RAY 6000 series for the measurement of the diameter, wall thickness, eccentricity and ovality at hose and tube extrusion lines. The X-RAY 6000 includes XLL-X-ray tubes (eXtra-Long-Life tubes) and provides a selectable measuring rate. Moreover, it ensures precise measuring values even under difficult climate conditions.

SIKORA will also showcase their successful 2- and 3-axis diameter gauges of the LASER Series 2000, such as the LASER 2300 XY for big diameters from 50 to 300 mm.

The new ULTRATEMP 6000, a temperature measurement device based on ultrasonic technology, celebrates its premiere at the show. It is specifically designed for the measurement of PE melts during the extrusion process. The ULTRATEMP 6000 reliably determines the melt homogeneity and detects combustions in the material.

In Shanghai SIKORA is furthermore presenting the new diameter gauge CENTRIX 8025 XY, which is also designed for measuring the eccentricity of transparent products. In addition SIKORA presents the LUMP 2000, for the detection of lumps and neck downs in 2 or 3 planes. In combination with powerful display and control devices REMOTE 2000 or ECOCONTROL 600, 1000 and 2000 SIKORA offers measuring and control equipment for a new level of quality control.
